APC-driven circuit built-in laser diode module
The ELD6501A is a laser diode module that integrates a 650nm wavelength, 5mW rated output laser chip, a monitor diode, and an APC drive circuit into a TO-56 metal can package. Since it has all the APC circuits built-in, it can output APC-controlled laser light using only a laser light output setting resistor. The integration into a TO-56 package allows for miniaturization and weight reduction of laser application devices. With the built-in APC circuit, it enables shorter development times and improved reliability due to metal can sealing. Additionally, it can block external surges from the laser chip, enhancing electrostatic discharge resistance during assembly and transportation.
