What is a solution for removing dirt from mold components using a cleaning agent that takes safety into consideration?
【Case Study of Problem Solving】 Company A manufactures and sells molded products by processing resin with molds. They used hydrocarbon-based cleaning agents for mold cleaning, which posed a fire risk due to sparks in the workplace. In the past, they considered switching to a semi-aqueous cleaning agent, but it was insufficient in removing resin stains, necessitating manual wiping, leading them to abandon the idea. ◆ Key Points of the Issue - They want to reduce fire risk while ensuring cleaning performance. - They wish to avoid cleaning agents containing strong alkalis due to the need for hazardous substance management. ◆ How was this issue resolved? - They selected and formulated amine-based raw materials suitable for the chemical decomposition of the resin, achieving sufficient cleaning power even with semi-aqueous cleaning agents. - By not using strong alkalis like caustic soda, they ensured safety for users. - They used water-soluble raw materials, reducing fire risk through water dilution during cleaning. ◎ With Japan Emulsifier's "Minemaru Series," you can achieve both cleaning power and safety.
