Applications/Examples of results
1. As long as there is a pilot hole, you can simply screw it in to perform both internal threading and tightening simultaneously. 2. Since the internal threads are formed through plastic deformation, no chips are generated. 3. JIS Class 2 external threads can be used with the formed internal threads. (Compatible) 4. When used in areas with internal threading, there will be no galling during tightening. * No need for re-tapping even if there is distortion or spatter during welding. 5. If there is internal threading and surface treatment, thick coatings will be removed. * No need for re-tapping, and grounding performance is significantly improved. 6. A stronger tightening force can be achieved compared to standard tapping screws. * No need for spring washers. * For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
Detailed information
-
FT screws can be screwed in as long as there is a pilot hole, allowing for simultaneous internal thread processing and fastening. Even if there is a thick coating or spatter in an existing screw hole, fastening can be done without the need for re-tapping. Additionally, they can be used without washers due to their strong fastening power.
