The commercial air purifier "Air Revive," which utilizes photocatalytic technology, takes in air from environments containing viruses, harmful substances, bacteria, and foul odors, and revitalizes the air through the powerful oxidative decomposition of the photocatalyst. Regarding the safety of the photocatalyst, it does not emit harmful ozone, ultraviolet rays, or chlorine. Additionally, in terms of running costs, the photocatalytic filter can be reused economically by regularly soaking it in water or lukewarm water for cleaning. The results of a demonstration experiment conducted with mandarin orange farmers in Shizuoka Prefecture, under the theme "Preventing Decay with the Power of Light," were presented at the "Shizuoka Prefecture SDGs Business Award 2022," where it received the Governor's Award. *Patent application is currently in progress.

At a mandarin orange farm in Shizuoka Prefecture, the product "Air Revive" was installed in the mandarin storage facility after harvest and used for 60 days. As a result, the percentage of healthy fruit improved by over 10% compared to before using the product. The farmers reported a reduction in the labor of removing rotten fruit, which had been a long-standing issue, as well as a decrease in disposal costs. Additionally, they noted a reduction in mold odors, leading to an improved working environment. We are continuously verifying whether similar effects on decay reduction and improvement of working conditions apply to other fruit trees as well.
