The AP-96M (AP96M) is a wireless access point manufactured by ICOM. It complies with Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE802.11ax). It enables high-speed and stable communication with simultaneous dual-band transmission at a maximum speed of 1.2Gbps. It features robust security standards supporting WPA2 (Personal/Enterprise), WPA3, and OFDMA. It operates under the IEEE.802.3af PoE standard. Up to 16 groups of virtual APs can be configured. It can communicate on 20 channels in the 5GHz band (W52/W53/W56) and 13 channels in the 2.4GHz band. The 5GHz band includes channel 144, allowing for smooth communication that avoids congested channels and prevents mutual interference. It has power level adjustment and connection terminal limitation functions to mitigate speed reduction during high connection periods.
