The hard chrome plating treatment on aluminum materials (aluminum) is different from the usual process. It involves zinc replacement and nickel plating treatment, followed by the formation of a hard chrome plating film on top. Aluminum reacts with oxygen in the air, and its surface is covered with a film of aluminum oxide (Al2O3). This oxide film is a chemically stable substance, and to apply hard chrome plating, it is necessary to remove this oxide film.
