Voltage Regulation The battery storage system adjusts the reactive power on the generation side in real-time through reactive power and voltage (Q-V) drop control, balancing it with the reactive power on the load side to stabilize the system voltage. When the system voltage drops, the battery storage system outputs reactive power. When the system voltage rises, the battery storage system absorbs reactive power. Black Start In the event of a large-scale power outage in the system, the battery storage system performs a black start based on the system's command, establishing AC voltage and frequency to supply power to critical loads and auxiliary power for conventional power plants, assisting in the early recovery of the system. Wholesale Electricity Market The electricity market price in the wholesale electricity market fluctuates by time of day, generally being higher in the evening and morning, and lower at night. Additionally, with the large-scale introduction of renewable energy, daytime electricity prices are expected to decrease to near zero in the future. Capacity Market By participating in the capacity market as a dispatchable power source, the battery storage system efficiently secures the supply capacity (kW) needed in the future.
