Process 11 Tabletop Small Dual-Axis Extruder

It is a flexible and highly expandable tabletop extruder that maximizes effectiveness with a small amount of sample.
The Process 11 tabletop parallel twin-screw extruder allows for feeder operation via a touch screen using a monitor. Additionally, the components can be easily removed. Its compact monocoque design enables use in limited lab spaces and can be installed within isolators or draft chambers. The screw elements and barrel design are all engineered with geometric factors and scaling in mind for all Thermo Scientific extruders, making process scale-up straightforward. Features of the Process 11 parallel twin-screw extruder: - Minimum sample material usage (20 g) - Throughput range of 20 g to 2.5 kg/hour - Easy to transport, compact benchtop design - Easy to clean: features a segmental screw with a removable upper half barrel - User-friendly touch screen operation - Screw and barrel designs that facilitate easy scale-up across product lineups

• Multiple split feeding ports and vent ports • Mold design that allows for quick changes in strand diameter • Eight barrel segments for accurate temperature profiles (length: 5 L/D) • High-temperature options up to 450°C useful for high-performance polymers • Liquid cooling control of the barrel for low-temperature applications • Barrels with sufficient ports provide maximum flexibility with split feeds and vents • Screw length adjustment kit allows for shortening the processing length of the extruder at 5 L/D stages We also offer a Hygiene model with steel product contact parts that meets the hygiene standards required in the food and cosmetics industries.
