In the manufacturing industry with factories producing expanded polyethylene and expanded polystyrene, the use of the odor sensor is implemented for odor management within the facility, as there can be individual differences and variations in the sense of smell. Management standards are set by the customer for each plant, and if any deviations from these standards occur, feedback is provided to each plant for appropriate measures to be taken.
