We would like to introduce an example of a large enclosure frame with insulation material produced by Mitsuya Co., Ltd.
This product is a machine device housing with dimensions of W; 5,800, L; 3,150, H; 2,750, and it has been designed as a three-part frame for consideration of manufacturing and transportation. The photo shows one of the three parts. Additionally, the main photo intentionally features an incomplete production image, while the completed photo is included as a secondary image. When we were approached, the delivery time was very short at just over two weeks, and there was an inquiry about whether it could be manufactured using only the 3D data. However, I communicated that based on the 3D data, it would be difficult to manufacture without 2D drawings at the welding stage, as the mounting positions (dimensions) of the parts were unclear. We then created a manufacturing program based on the completed 3D model data, and later confirmed the manufacturing quantities and checked for any deficiencies in the manufacturing data or omissions in the production layout using 2D drawings and a parts list before proceeding with the manufacturing allocation.

basic information
Originally, such a chassis frame is made from processed steel angle materials, but the frame of this chassis is made from sheet metal processed products using 4.5t material that has been bent into an angle shape. The outer panel is made of 1.6t material, and the interior panel that holds the insulation is primarily made of SUS 1.2t. Since the 4.5t angle-shaped material has been pre-tapped to allow for the outer and interior panels to be fixed with bolts, we were able to secure the outer and interior panels to the chassis frame with bolts during processing, which helped maintain the dimensional accuracy of the chassis frame and reduce welding distortion of the chassis. A problem that arose during production was that, as we progressed, the frame's strength was insufficient due to the large size of the product. As the product grew larger, we used two cranes to rotate and tilt the product to weld various components, but at that time, the angle-shaped frame was prone to distortion due to a lack of reinforcement. Since the customer was not aware of this, we consulted with them and added multiple reinforcements in areas that would not interfere with assembly with other products and were not related to performance, thereby increasing the overall strength of the product.
