Additionally, with the revision of the Building Standards Act, there will be a review of the targets for building confirmation and inspection, as well as the implementation of a system for omitting reviews. The application procedures for building confirmation conducted by building owners and designers will also change. While ensuring sufficient preparation time for both applicants and reviewers, the law is scheduled to come into effect in April 2025, and buildings that commence construction after the enforcement date will be subject to compliance obligations.
