EBSD (Electron Backscatter Diffraction) is one of the analytical techniques using a scanning electron microscope, which allows for the evaluation of the distribution of crystal structure, crystal orientation, and plastic strain by analyzing the EBSD patterns generated when an electron beam is irradiated onto a crystalline sample.
