Additionally, it is effective in preventing cracking in printed materials and thick paper. Depending on the desired product and specifications, creasing processing may be necessary. The appropriate thickness of the crease will vary depending on the thickness of the paper being used. Also, it is not possible to mix peaks and valleys of the creases. Special creasing processes, such as partial or diagonal creases, can be applied as part of the die-cutting process by creating a dedicated die. (Note) Cracking - This occurs when the fibers at the crease of printed materials separate during folding, causing the print to peel off.
