Generally, the precision of thick products made by pressing is at the level of parallelism 0.1mm and roundness 0.1mm. On the other hand, for precision cutting, a thickness of 2.5mm is considered very thin, which can lead to deformation during chucking. Yamagishi Manufacturing Co. can process products with such thicknesses—thick for pressing and thin for cutting—at the micron level.
