The baked nut has a three-layer plating structure. ■ Tin layer (functional decorative material layer) - Tin layer of 5-10 µm - Prevents heat absorbed by the copper layer from being retained on the surfaces that rub against each other (threads) during bolt and nut fastening, and reduces friction on the rubbing surfaces. - Maintains aesthetic appeal (dry finish). ■ Copper layer (functional material layer) - Copper layer of 4-12 µm - Made of copper with good thermal conductivity, absorbs and dissipates heat generated by friction during fastening. ■ Nickel layer (primer material layer) - Nickel layer of 0.2-1 µm - Activates the surface oxide layer of stainless steel fasteners, improving adhesion between the base material and the copper layer.
