A new media that has been improved to easily process the rough surfaces that could not be refined by conventional SMAP media. It can be used with existing machines.
With sandblasting, it removes too much material, and with shot blasting, it doesn't achieve the desired polish. This new product utilizes SMAP's unique technology to improve surface roughness, which previously relied on manual polishing for rough surface processing. It is capable of enhancing the surface roughness of rough electrical discharge machining surfaces and ceramics. It can also polish the surfaces of complex shapes often found in 3D printing. Testing can be conducted free of charge. Please feel free to contact us.

basic information
Product Name: SP-12SD Contents: Media specifically for the mirror shot machine SMAP. It can be used in SMAP series machines. Technology: SMAP media is known for its core having cushioning properties, allowing surface modification without generating stress on the target. However, conventional media were ineffective on surfaces that were too rough. The new SP-12SD retains the characteristics of the previous models while enabling improvement of surface roughness on coarse surfaces.
