Being silicone, it has excellent weather resistance, durability, ozone resistance (UV), and waterproofing, lasting semi-permanently. No re-maintenance is required, and there are no cracks or fraying. It stretches well (up to 300%) and can also be extended. It can be cut by hand, and within a few minutes, the tapes completely fuse together and do not peel off.
