We would like to introduce a case study of the production management system "FUSE," which combines only the necessary features from 20 functionalities and has been implemented in the casting industry. There were challenges such as a lack of process management, resulting in habitual delays in delivery due to the inability to see work progress, and the specialized casting techniques becoming tacit knowledge, making technical succession difficult. After implementation, the use of a large touch panel for progress sharing reduced delivery delays by one-third, and it became possible to register achievements from the site, allowing for real-time progress confirmation.
