"From a conventional one-month delivery time to two weeks" — While the demand for shorter delivery times is becoming more stringent, the number of long-lead-time components, such as semiconductors and special motors, which take several months to deliver, continues to increase. The traditional approach of arranging parts only after the design is fully completed cannot physically meet the delivery deadlines. This is a challenge faced by many sites engaged in make-to-order production. The semi-order production management system FUSE was developed with the premise of simultaneously advancing design, procurement, and manufacturing. Even if the BOM (Bill of Materials) is incomplete, it allows for the sequential arrangement of units and long-lead-time components that have confirmed designs through a "drip delivery" method, eliminating time loss while waiting for drawings and shortening lead times. Additionally, by managing everything from order to purchasing, manufacturing, and cost with production numbers, it enables real-time understanding of actual performance and deficits without waiting for completion.
