Hallite 653 is a single-acting rod buffer seal designed to be used in combination with high-performance rod seals such as Hallite's 605 and 621, allowing oil to pass through the rod seal while suppressing pressure spikes. Hallite 653 is a patented product (European Patent No. 0427554BI, U.S. Patent No. 5088747). It is molded from high-performance polyurethane Hythane181, making it easy to install and providing excellent low-temperature performance. Additionally, it features a design that incorporates a polyacetal backup ring, which exhibits maximum resistance to extrusion under shock pressure loads.
