Hallite SRS is a low-friction rod buffer seal designed for use in combination with primary pressure seals for single-acting applications. It is a pressure buffer seal that protects the primary rod seal from high-frequency pressure spikes within the system. The design allows oil to pass through to the rod seal while suppressing pressure spikes. To prevent the buildup of pressure between the rod seal and the buffer seal, the SRS can return pressure back into the system.
