Bond Elut Carbon is a solid-phase extraction mini-column that uses graphite carbon black as the packing material. Due to the layered structure of carbon atoms, it exhibits strong retention for compounds with planar structures, such as chlorophyll. Because of these characteristics, it is suitable for the removal of pigments from food extracts and the concentration of compounds (pesticides) with aromatic rings in environmental water.
