Bedbugs hide in the gaps of bedding and furniture, as well as behind curtains, and attach themselves to the body during sleep at night, causing severe itching. Until now, accommodation facilities have had no means to independently check for the presence of bedbugs. As a result, the current situation is that they can only assess the situation after damage occurs or after visually confirming their presence. The Dry Hunter attracts bedbugs with dry ice and captures them with adhesive. To ensure a secure contact with the floor, a half-cut auxiliary fold is provided 10mm inward from the outer perimeter on all four sides. After bending it at a 45-degree angle, it is placed on the floor, increasing the contact area with the floor to enhance the capture effect. The areas coated with adhesive are covered with release paper, which is removed during use. A space is designated in the central white display area for approximately 500g of dry ice. As the dry ice vaporizes, carbon dioxide is generated, attracting bedbugs that are captured in the adhesive area. It takes about 8 hours for approximately 500g of dry ice to completely vaporize. During this time, moisture in the air and the cold air from the dry ice condense, resulting in a small amount of water droplets. However, both sides of the cardboard sheet are laminated with a thin film, preventing moisture from soaking into or deforming the cardboard sheet. Additionally, after use, it can be reused by reapplying the release paper.
