It is a battery-less tablet specifically designed for applications that require constant power supply, such as embedded and stationary uses. By not including a battery, it eliminates concerns about battery lifespan and issues like swelling, making it suitable for maintenance-challenging embedded applications (such as operation panels for ticket vending machines and POS registers, or small signage installations on product display shelves). It also avoids downtime for battery replacement and the maintenance hassle associated with batteries during long-term storage, ultimately contributing to a reduction in TCO (total cost of ownership). Additionally, compared to battery-equipped models, it has a wider usable temperature range (-10°C to 60°C*) which allows for IT modernization and labor-saving in environments where using tablets or PCs was previously difficult, such as TTO terminals in barbecue restaurants, signage near frozen cases, and management terminals in cold storage. *Applicable when surrounding humidity is below 50%.
