The test evaluates the lifespan (oxidation stability) of hydraulic fluids for construction machinery using a high-pressure piston pump. In a 500-hour durability test, the properties of the oil (viscosity change rate, increase in oxidation, amount of contaminants) are checked every 100 hours, and a pass/fail judgment is made.
