With conventional tablet press punches, when the punch head comes into contact with the roll, a large load is applied to the roll and a strong torque is applied to the punch tip, leading to issues related to wear and damage. The 'NOTURA Disc' rotates only the disk on the punch head during contact, thereby eliminating the load from the rotational motion and alleviating the load on the punch tip.
