A3003 is one of the representative alloys in the 3000 series, made by adding manganese to pure aluminum. It retains the characteristics of pure aluminum, such as good corrosion resistance and workability, while improving strength. As a non-heat-treatable alloy, it does not undergo aging treatment. Additionally, it is rarely used as a cutting material. Its main applications include electrical machinery parts and heat exchangers. Aluminum cans are also made using alloys from the 3000 series.
