Optimal Machine Configuration Brother's unique processing startup function significantly improves the production efficiency of deburring operations in variable production that are typically done manually, achieving automation. ■ Three Features Promoting the Automation of Deburring Operations The Deburring Center DG-1 is equipped with Brother's unique processing startup function. With simple teaching operations, corrections, and automatic path generation, it allows for quick processing startup. It also accommodates a wide variety of burr types through an optimal machine configuration and achieves high chip discharge capability suitable for dry processing, advancing the automation of manual deburring operations. ■ Jig Area With a 4-axis control featuring a roller gear cam structure inclined axis (A-axis), it has a wide jig area that allows for highly flexible jig design. Additionally, a jig base (optional) is available to construct cradle jigs between the inclined axis's face plate and support. ■ Jig Installation Examples The efficient machine configuration allows for high flexibility in jig design, making it easy to mount jigs for large workpieces as well as for multiple small parts.

Brother's Unique Machining Startup Function Simple operations such as teaching representative points and intuitive path corrections, as well as automatic machining path generation and automatic program conversion, are equipped with Brother's unique machining startup function. This enables the mechanization of deburring processes for small-batch and variable production in a short time frame. STEP 1: Teaching Representative Points Place the tool on the master workpiece* to teach the representative points. Compared to robots, fewer teaching points are needed, and there is no requirement to define straight lines or arcs. For gentle curves, teaching only the start and end points can automatically generate the machining path. *Please prepare a good workpiece that has already been deburred as the master workpiece. STEP 2: Automatic Generation of Machining Paths Based on the taught representative points, the machining path is automatically generated by following the master workpiece. Because the machining path is generated through following actions, there are fewer corrections needed compared to robots or machining centers. STEP 3: Intuitive Operation for Path Correction You can indicate correction points on the touch panel, allowing for intuitive operation to correct machining paths and conditions. Corrections can be made for each teaching point or area. STEP 4: Automatic Conversion of Machining Programs Automatically convert machining paths and machining condition data into machining programs. This allows for easy creation of machining programs.
