Our company has been working on a fully automated system for supplying coolant fluid that is diluted to a stable concentration. In addition to addressing the issue of "liquid volume management," which is a challenge that needs to be solved in the machining field, we have also tackled "concentration management" and "pH monitoring," resulting in the completion of a high-performance and compact "Coolant Controller." The "Coolant Controller" not only incorporates the know-how we have accumulated so far but also realizes the automation of coolant concentration adjustment, which has been difficult until now. By installing the "Coolant Controller," the coolant is constantly corrected to the set concentration, allowing for machining with a stable concentration of coolant, thereby aiming for improved quality. Additionally, the results of the concentration adjustments are logged in numerical form, enabling not only the verification of concentration measurement history but also the numerical management of the coolant. Furthermore, by adding an optional pH monitoring function, it becomes possible to assess the degradation level of the coolant.
