Launch of Online High-Precision Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis Service for Catalytic Reaction Products - Supporting Material Development Towards Achieving Carbon Neutrality -
Our company (hereinafter referred to as "TRC") has launched a service that integrates a pyrolysis and catalytic reaction furnace, a pressure controller, and a unique gas introduction mechanism into a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) system, enabling high-precision online qualitative and quantitative analysis of products in catalytic reactions. Catalysts are substances that can facilitate chemical reactions at low energy and are one of the key materials for achieving carbon neutrality (hereinafter referred to as "CN"). In recent years, there has been a demand for better catalysts and reaction processes to conduct desired reactions with high selectivity, high efficiency, and low cost. TRC has made it possible to use GC/MS for detecting catalytic reaction products and to perform online analysis that simulates various catalytic reaction conditions, allowing for more precise qualitative and quantitative analysis compared to conventional catalytic reaction evaluation devices. This is expected to lead to more effective catalyst screening and optimization of reaction processes. By providing detailed information related to the reaction products of catalysts, we aim to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through support in material development.
