Concealed air conditioning units and concealed hotel units can solve drainage problems with a drain pump!

We would like to introduce a case study on drain pumps in concealed housing air conditioners/hotel units. In cases where "the drain piping in guest rooms cannot be removed in hotels," we use a mounting plate, drain pump, and insulated hose to raise the drain to the necessary height, and then extend it horizontally to the drainage point. By using a drain pump and insulated hose, horizontal routing can be achieved while avoiding obstacles. The piping route can be freely designed without worrying about the slope, including collective piping, existing piping (in renovation cases), and vertical pipes (such as pipe shafts). 【Challenges】 ■ The drain piping in guest rooms cannot be removed in hotels. ■ As a lodging facility, the operating noise of the drain pump is a concern. ■ The ceiling space is narrow, making it difficult to achieve the required slope for piping.

basic information

【Solution】 ■ Freely designed horizontal piping (without slope) can be done while avoiding obstacles, leading to collective piping and vertical pipes (such as pipe shafts). ■ The concealed drain pump is designed to be quiet, with a noise level of 32dB or lower. ■ Pressure can be applied regardless of slope, allowing for pressure application without worrying about tact or obstacles. Basement… Low ceiling… Not facing an exterior wall… Using a drain pump makes it possible to install air conditioning even in environments where drainage is not possible. 【Types of air conditioning units and corresponding drain pumps】 ■ Housing air conditioners / Concealed hotel units …HA121J / HA122J, JH121T / JH122T ■ Wall-mounted air conditioners (room air conditioners) …S121J / S122J, JM121S / JM122S ■ Building multi-package air conditioners …NP20W2 ■ Equipment air conditioners / Large air conditioning units …NP60H2 *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Applications/Examples of results

We are active in such sites! ★ In renovation work… In renovation projects, there are various obstacles such as existing piping, ducts, beams, and partitions. With a drain pump, hose installation can drain water without requiring a downward slope. ★ In temporary construction… For plumbing work in temporary structures that are installed for a limited period, removal will be done again. The use of a drain pump and hose installation simplifies the plumbing process. ★ In remodeling work… Remodeling in homes and facilities allows for flexible routing of refrigerant piping to reach the outdoor unit. However, the drain piping from the indoor unit requires a natural slope, making routing difficult. With a drain pump and hose installation, drain work can be done along a free route, allowing for air conditioning installation in the desired location. ★ In new construction… Of course, drain pumps are also active in new construction. In tenants where future layout changes are anticipated, or in warehouses and factories where forklift pathways need to be secured, the use of drain pumps and hose installation provides efficient construction as an alternative to drain piping.
