JAKA
Challenging small-batch, diverse production with collaborative robots! Achieving 1.5 times work efficiency with implementation support! Case study materials are also available!
To improve the efficiency of small-lot, diverse production, Tanoi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has introduced collaborative robots. The company is a long-established manufacturer specializing in taps and dies for screw manufacturing, founded in 1923. Until now, they had been using industrial robots for large-lot production, but adapting to the recent demand for small-lot, diverse production has been a challenge. The introduction of collaborative robots is appealing due to their ease of operation and space-saving design. With the support of Wing Robotics, training sessions for employees were also conducted. The intuitive "JAKA" robot can be taught without a touch panel, allowing on-site staff to respond quickly. After the introduction, production efficiency improved by 1.54 times. Positive feedback regarding the use of robots has emerged from within the company, and work efficiency is progressing. Tanoi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. plans to continue promoting the introduction of robots and focus on high-value-added tasks that only humans can perform. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
