The "HySpex Art Scanner" is a hyperspectral camera system developed by NEO Corporation, commissioned by the C2RMF (Center for Research and Restoration of Museums of France) located at the Louvre Museum in Paris, for the hyperspectral imaging of large paintings and other works of art. It was installed at the C2RMF facility in early 2011. The system used at C2RMF consists of NEO's high-resolution hyperspectral camera "HySpex VNIR-1600," a large (100cm x 150cm) horizontal and vertical scanning stage, and a fiber light source configuration. NEO Corporation offers configurations of hyperspectral camera systems suitable for the paintings and artworks to be measured. ■ High S/N ratio ■ High spatial resolution Enables non-destructive, non-contact spectral imaging and analysis in the art field. ■ Compatible with the HySpex series hyperspectral cameras for visible and near-infrared (up to 2500nm) ■ PCA (Principal Component Analysis) is possible ■ System configurations can be tailored to shooting conditions.
