- We are capable of performing endotoxin reduction treatments on various types of chitosan products (ranging from low molecular weight to high molecular weight, including Koyo Chitosan FL-80, FM-80, FH-80, etc.). - We have developed extraction conditions that allow for good quantification of endotoxins in chitosan. - The quantification of endotoxins in chitosan is measured in accordance with the "Endotoxin Test Method" of the 18th Revision of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia, and under the developed extraction conditions, the reaction interference factor test (standard addition recovery) was determined to have no reaction interference factors, suggesting good quantification values. - Endotoxins in chitosan have been reduced to less than 0.1 EU/mg.
