Introducing an article about the mechanism and effects of copper's super antibacterial power!
The mechanism that brings about the super antibacterial properties of copper is as follows. Copper reacts with moisture to generate reactive oxygen species with strong oxidative power, which decompose the target molecules of bacteria and viruses. First, when bacteria come into direct contact with the copper surface, their outer membrane is ruptured. When the outer membrane, which is the greatest armor for the cell, is breached, copper ions mercilessly enter the cell. Copper attacks the contents of the cell and inhibits the metabolic processes that are essential for survival. As a result, the cell becomes unable to transport and digest nutrients, repair the damaged outer membrane, breathe, or reproduce. This mechanism weakens the entire bacterial cell. *For more detailed information, please refer to the related links. Feel free to contact us for further inquiries.*
