By setting and managing the tightening torque in an appropriate manner, you can enhance the quality and safety of the product!
This document is a technical column that explains the "relationship and calculation methods of torque, axial force, and friction." It provides a detailed explanation of the interactions between torque, axial force, and friction, including the effects of torque and friction on axial force, the formulas for calculating torque and axial force, and the calculation and impact of the friction coefficient. Tightening technology may seem simple at first glance, but it is actually a very deep technical field. By correctly understanding the relationship between torque, axial force, and friction, and by setting and managing the tightening torque using appropriate methods, the quality and safety of products can be enhanced. [Contents] ■ Relationship between torque, axial force, and friction ■ Formulas for torque and axial force ■ Calculation and impact of the friction coefficient ■ Method for setting tightening torque ■ Summary ■ "Electric Nut Runner" for detecting abnormalities before seating in screw tightening *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Our company, with the purpose of "together, pioneering the future," has been engaged since its establishment in 1947 in two fields: the production goods sector, which deals with machine tools, peripheral equipment, logistics equipment, mechatronic devices, and tools used in manufacturing, the backbone of Japan's industry, and the consumer goods sector, which handles residential equipment, furniture, and home appliances that are useful for everyday life. As a specialized trading company, we consistently provide more specialized "knowledge" and "information." As of the end of June 2023, we have established 53 sales bases and 12 logistics locations in Japan, as well as 64 business offices in 14 countries and regions overseas, supporting bidirectional business between Japan and the world through products and ideas.
