We conduct "Oxidation Induction Time (OIT) and Oxidation Onset Temperature (IOT) measurements." "Oxidation Induction Time" refers to the time when heat generation due to oxidation reactions begins, while "Oxidation Onset Temperature" refers to the temperature at which heat generation due to oxidation reactions starts. Using a Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), it is possible to evaluate the susceptibility of plastics and rubber to oxidative degradation with a small amount of sample. 【Measurement Method】 ■ Oxidation Induction Time - After heating in a nitrogen atmosphere, switch to an oxygen atmosphere upon reaching the specified temperature, and measure the time variation of heat at a constant temperature. ■ Oxidation Onset Temperature - Measure the change in heat while heating in an oxygen atmosphere. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
