Amazon announced its drone delivery service "Prime Air" in 2013. Ten years have passed since then, and they are actively advancing drone delivery trials at new bases in California and Texas. In 2023, they started a service to deliver prescription medications via drone to specific customers in Texas who were permitted to install markers at delivery locations, all within an hour of placing an order and at no additional charge. Additionally, Walmart's drone delivery achievements have already exceeded 10,000 deliveries across 36 stores in seven states. With UPS receiving permission from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in September 2023 for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations (long-distance flights without ground monitoring personnel), regulations for "making drone delivery a part of everyday life" are gradually being relaxed in the United States. *For more details, you can view the related links.
