Flexible 3D layout is possible! High-speed forced transport device for bearings.
FCS-H300
Automating the inter-process transportation of bearings with FCS, which effectively utilizes limited space. We will introduce a case that achieved significant labor reduction and quality improvement.
【Customer Requests / Issues】 - Currently, the transportation from the exit of the previous process to the entrance of the next process is connected using a combination of an up-and-down lifter and a traditional ribbon chute that utilizes free fall. ■ Issues - Scratches occur on products in the chute section. - Responding to production halts and changing setups takes time. - There are many work-in-progress items, making production management difficult. - Even for automation, the required transportation routes are complex and space is limited, necessitating multiple transfers in vertical, horizontal, and lateral directions. - There is a need to respond to faster cycle times. - Ease of operation, such as reducing setup changes, is required. - Standardization of specifications. - Just-in-time automated transportation and improved traceability are needed. 【Results After FCS Implementation】 By flexibly constructing transportation paths and introducing the FCS-H300, which enables high-speed three-dimensional transportation, we achieved automatic single-item transportation just-in-time, which was not possible before. This led to significant improvements in quality, production management, reduction of setup changes, and efficiency in equipment maintenance, greatly enhancing overall productivity. *For more details about FCS, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

basic information
The FCS Flexible Carrier System performs linear transport, planar transport (2D transport), and three-dimensional transport in a three-dimensional space using a single drive unit. It travels along a track connected by guide rails in horizontal, vertical, and curved configurations via a wire, and the carrier equipped with a chuck can be fitted with mechanisms for changing the posture of workpieces, pickup mechanisms, and more as needed. Since there is no need to change the grip on the workpieces during transport, there is no longer a requirement for numerous workpiece attachment and detachment mechanisms or transfer devices found in conventional transport systems, resulting in significant cost reductions. Additionally, the elimination of errors associated with grip changes brings substantial advantages to production efficiency and other factors. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Applications/Examples of results
- Workpieces are individually clamped using width chucks, outer diameter chucks, and inner diameter chucks, and are rapidly and forcibly transported between processes on the production line for bearings. - By combining a loading device on the receiving side and a unloading device on the dispensing side, it is also possible to load and transport 20 bearings onto a carrier simultaneously. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
