Analysis of gases emitted from resin and plastic (please consult us for odor analysis as well).
Heat the headspace bottle and collect the generated gas! Qualitatively analyze the generated gas to identify the cause and improve the issue.
Our company is capable of qualitative and quantitative analysis of outgassing using static headspace GC/MS by sealing samples in glass vials. If solvents or unreacted materials remain in the product's resin materials, packaging materials, or cushioning materials, they can diffuse as outgassing (volatile gases). This can not only cause defects in the product but may also have adverse effects on the environment and human health. Our company possesses analytical know-how, including sample handling. Please feel free to consult with us. 【Sample Handling Instructions】 ■ Avoid direct contact with samples using bare hands and do not place them directly into plastic bags. ■ Powdered samples, liquid samples: Pack tightly in glass screw-cap bottles to eliminate air space and seal with a lid that has a fluororesin-coated gasket. ■ Film (sheet) type, plate type samples: Wrap them so that the matte side of the aluminum foil is in contact with the sample, ensuring there is no air space. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
