Contec has newly developed an expanded 2-slot model for its fanless embedded computer "Box Computer® BX-M4600 Series," which is currently on sale. The lineup now includes PCI Express x2 slot models and PCI x2 slot models, with orders starting from March 4, 2025. The new product features a high-power CPU from the 12th/13th generation Intel Core processors (Alder Lake-S/Raptor Lake-S) while achieving fanless operation, making it a high-performance model at the top of the Box Computer® BX series, equipped with expansion slots. It comes with either two PCI Express (x8) slots or two PCI slots, making it ideal for embedded inspection devices using measurement control boards and for transitioning legacy systems.
