The new product "SMART Scan+" is a compact device that combines a scanning laser Doppler vibrometer, a data acquisition box, and an arbitrary signal generator. Researchers and developers can measure vibrations across an entire surface with unparalleled accuracy, rather than just at a single point. It enables compact and rapid measurement and analysis simultaneously without the need to connect multiple units as in the past. It can be used for a wide range of applications, including verification of FEM models, evaluation of vibration process characteristics, and determination of mode parameters through visualization of operational deflection shapes, wave propagation, and natural modes. A 3D laser vibrometer can measure vibrations in the XYZ direction by intersecting lasers at a single point.

The scanning vibrometer can scan a laser and display the vibration distribution in an animated format. Measurement, signal processing, and analysis can all be done with this one unit, without the need for an external PC!
