The EN 50332 test standard has been commercialized as the ACQUA automated test suite.
The European standard EN 50332 specifies the maximum sound pressure levels and input/output voltage measurement methods for headphones, earphones, and headsets related to portable audio devices. Compliance with EN 50332 is essential for distributing these devices in many countries. Therefore, adherence to EN 50332 is important for all manufacturers of consumer mobile electronics. HEAD acoustics has commercialized the testing requirements of EN 50332 as an automated test suite for the call quality analysis system ACQUA.
