The "GMD" insert exchangeable drill developed by a German global manufacturer with over 125 years of history, capable of processing holes up to Φ50.
The insert exchangeable drill 'GMD' supports hole machining up to a maximum diameter of Φ50 for standard products, and offers holders compatible with inserts and machining depths from 2xD to 5xD according to the workpiece material. It employs two types of inserts with different shapes and characteristics, achieving excellent surface quality and long tool life. The inner blade exhibits outstanding self-positioning performance due to its special shape, enabling high-precision and stable hole machining. The outer blade features optimal carbide material and a high-adhesion, high-hardness HiPIMS coating for extended tool life.
