Next-generation high-performance plasmid purification nanofiber product pDNAHERO
Astrea Bioseparations/ Biotage
Innovative nanofiber technology! Efficient and high-performance purification with plasmid purification. Also applicable to the IVT process to enhance mRNA synthesis efficiency.
The nanofibers developed using two types of cellulose and non-cellulose, which differ from conventional porous resins, enable the purification of large molecules. They possess high binding capacity even at high flow rates, allowing for process shortening. This makes efficient purification possible and contributes to the removal of impurities such as HCP. pDNAHERO binds to the nanofibers using weak HIC as a ligand, showing affinity for supercoiled plasmids. Long-chain plasmids can also be used. Additionally, purification of single-stranded plasmid DNA is possible, and it can be utilized in the process of mRNA synthesis via IVT.
