Study on the Practical Application of "Zinc Fuel Cells" [Public Suwa Tokyo University of Science]
Resource recycling through redox reactions! Manufacturing method for bead-type and jelly-roll zinc fuel.
Introduction to the practical examination of "zinc fuel cells" with excellent safety and storage properties. The electrochemical reduction of zinc is easy, but there are practical challenges in uniformly controlling the shape of large quantities of zinc. A method is needed to reduce zinc into a shape that facilitates "extraction from the electrolytic cell" and "introduction into air batteries." Aiming for the practical application of fuel cells that store energy in zinc instead of hydrogen, we are advancing the development of a generation method for zinc fuel that excels in storage and handling properties. 【Features】 ■ Round-trip efficiency: More than twice that of hydrogen ■ Fuel safety: High safety due to being solid ■ Catalyst cost: Inexpensive (activated carbon) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
