● This is a probe that can perform flaw detection in accordance with the TOFD method standard NDIS2424. ● A lineup of probes that can be adapted to a minimum plate thickness of 4mm. ● We can manufacture probes corresponding to the specified frequency within the range of 1 MHz to 20 MHz. ●The TOFD (Time of Flight Diffraction) method is a technique in ultrasonic testing for estimating the height of flaws within a test object, and it is specified in the standards NDIS2423:2024 and ISO10863:2020. ●KGK Inc. (Kensa Gijutsu Kenkyusho) has developed a new ultra-compact probe capable of detecting defects in 4mm thick plates, in collaboration with Ultrasonic Measurement Technology LLC, in addition to its existing TOFD probes.
