We would like to introduce a case study involving the implementation of the ball reduction gear 'BR Series' with a simple waterproof specification. In production lines using reduction gears, there was a challenge where moisture intrusion into the gear was confirmed under specific conditions. This trend was particularly observed in equipment involved in cleaning processes, environments prone to condensation, or outdoor usage, where exposure to moisture was frequent. As a result of the implementation, moisture intrusion into the reduction gear was significantly suppressed. Issues such as rusting of internal components and emulsification or degradation of grease were resolved, allowing the original lubrication state of the reduction gear to be maintained over an extended period.
