Reliable battery performance that does not lose power even in extreme cold environments.
The lithium polymer battery developed by EEMB, designed to operate at -40°C, aims to provide reliable power performance even in extremely low-temperature environments. Typically, low temperatures lead to increased internal resistance and suppressed chemical reactions, resulting in reduced output. However, this model has demonstrated that it can discharge approximately 80% of its rated capacity even at -40°C, and maintain a charging efficiency of around 80% at -20°C, thanks to optimized manufacturing processes and materials. Additionally, the cell design incorporates a structure that suppresses extreme thermal expansion and contraction, as well as electrolyte freezing, ensuring long-term cycle durability and reliability (mitigating degradation due to temperature fluctuations). It is also capable of customized battery pack designs tailored to implementation constraints. This battery solution serves as the "last line of defense" in applications where power loss is unacceptable in low-temperature environments, such as cold region monitoring systems, polar exploration equipment, and refrigeration and logistics sensors.
