On the 26th of last month, the award ceremony held in Tokyo was attended by Hideo Toriumi, the head of the Solution Sales Promotion Department. About Power Donors and Power Supply Bases During a power outage caused by a disaster, securing emergency power is crucial for individuals who require medical care, such as those using ventilators. The Japan Power Donor Association (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Tamaki Kikutake) promotes a system called "Power Donors" to secure power during disasters for the entire community. This system designates local logistics centers and used car dealerships as emergency "power supply bases," providing free power from batteries of vehicles and electric forklifts, contributing to the safety of the community. Power supply bases can be checked by anyone through a dedicated app, and currently, more companies are becoming power supply bases, particularly in Miyagi and Aichi Prefectures. Our company supports the mission of the Power Donor Association and has actively participated in events and demonstrations organized by the association as a supporting member. Through the registration of our Nabari office as a power supply base, we aim to contribute to the safety and security of the local community and strive to provide power that saves lives during disasters.
